Once collected, we carry out a secure data wipe on all hard disk drives, then individually assess each item for recycling potential using the following grading method:

·         Component Separation

·         Base Materials Recovery

By considering every possible option we are able to recycle just about everything we collect, resulting in a consistent recovery rate of around 98%.      

Our service is supported by strong back office and quality systems which guarantee client compliance with the WEEE Directive and related Hazardous Waste Regulations, as well as adherence to The Data Protection Act in respect of disk drive and media destruction.

Green Magnet operates an Approved Treatment Facility (ATF) in Fareham, Hampshire and is a Licensed Waste Carrier.
